Squash Tromboncino

This is truly an amazing squash. This is a very large squash with seeds only in the bell so it makes it very useful and easy to use. This squash can replace almost all squash. It can easily be used for breads, fried, soups, and even as a winter squash. No need to grow several varities when this one does it all. This squash also is one of the few that can withstand an attack from squash bugs. They do affect it, but generally it lives through the attack and bounces back and gives you a second huge crop in the fall. My vines continue to grow and produce until the frost kills it off. All of our plants are grown right here on our farm in Hendricks county without any chemical intervention. Seeds saved from plants grown locally will grow and produce better then plants grown in foreign environments with different soil, weather and moisture then what we have here. All of the seed that we grow and sell are from non-hybrid heirloom varieties that are all non gmo and open pollinated. All of our seed saving work is done by hand without machines so you will get some plant material and chaff in with the seed.
